Idris Bello - a self-described "Afropreneur" (entrepreneur with an African focus) - is Founding Partner at LoftyInc Capital, an Africa-focused early-stage venture capital firm.

Over the last decade, Idris has led LoftyInc's investments into more than 150 of Africa's fastest-growing startups, including four unicorns: Andela, Flutterwave, Moove, and Wave Mobile.

Named among CNN's Top Ten African Technology Voices, Idris holds a first-class honours BSc in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; an MSc in Computer Science & Data Mining from the University of Houston; an MSc in Global Health Science from the University of Oxford, UK; and an MBA from Rice University, USA.

He is also a Kauffman Fellow, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship globally.
